01 Who we are
AfroGeez LLC (“we”, “us”) is an independent software company, registered as a limited liability company in the State of New Mexico, United States. We design, build and run our own products. This policy covers the personal data that flows through this website.

02 Our products
This website describes our products and links to them. Each product has its own privacy policy, published with that product, and that policy applies to the account and data you create when you use it. This page does not cover what happens inside our products, only on this website.
03 What we collect
This website has no sign-up and no forms. It collects information in two ways: what you choose to send us by email, and limited technical data collected automatically.
Information you send us
When you email one of the addresses on this site (for support, privacy, security, legal questions or a job application), we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you choose to write or attach, such as a CV when you apply for a role.
Information collected automatically
We run no analytics on this site. There is no tracking script, no third-party pixel and no page-view beacon, so we cannot tell you how many people read this page. The only record of your visit is the log our own web server writes, as every web server does:
- IP address
- Timestamp
- Page path
- Referrer
- User agent
- Response status
Those logs include your IP address, which is personal data. We use them solely to keep the site online and to block abuse, we never use them to build a profile of you or to measure traffic, and they are deleted on the short rotation described in Data retention.
04 What we don’t do
- We don’t sell or rent your personal information.
- We don’t run advertising trackers: no third-party pixels, ad-network scripts, or fingerprinting.
- We don’t send marketing email. You hear from us only in reply to your own email.
- We don’t use your data to train AI models.
- We don’t ask for more than we need to answer you.
05 How we use it
Each kind of data is used for the purpose you gave it to us, and nothing else:
- Your emails: to answer your question, help with a product, or handle your request.
- Job applications: to consider you for the role and run the hiring process.
- Server logs: to detect abuse, block attacks, and fix outages.
We don’t repurpose data across those lines: a CV is used for recruitment, a support email for that request, and nothing becomes a mailing list.
06 Our legal bases
Where data-protection law (such as the GDPR for EEA and UK visitors) asks us to name a legal basis:
- Taking steps toward a contract: handling your job application at your request.
- Legitimate interest: answering the emails you send us and keeping the site secure, each in the least intrusive way we know.
- Consent: anything beyond that, such as keeping an application on file for future roles, or playing an embedded video. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation: where the law requires us to keep or disclose something.
09 If the business changes hands
If AfroGeez LLC, or one of our products, is ever sold, merged, or transferred, the personal data we hold may transfer with it, so the new owner can keep serving you and answering your email. It stays governed by a policy at least as protective as this one, and wherever we are allowed to we will tell you before it happens, so you can ask us to delete your data first.
This is the transfer of a business, not a sale of your data: we still never sell or rent it, and a buyer takes it on under the same commitments, not as a fresh asset to exploit. Each of our products has its own privacy policy, and the same applies there.
10 Data retention
We keep data only while it is doing the job you gave it to us for:

11 Security
We protect personal data with industry-standard measures: encryption in transit, authentication and access controls, and least privilege, so access is limited to the people who need it to answer you.
No system is perfectly secure. If a security incident ever affects your personal data, we will tell you promptly and clearly.
12 International visitors
We are a US company with users worldwide, and our infrastructure may be located outside your country. Wherever your data is processed, this policy and the same technical protections travel with it.
13 Your rights
These apply to everyone, everywhere, not only where a law grants them. Email privacy@afrogeez.com and we will act on any of them free of charge. We answer without undue delay, and in any event within 30 days:
Access
Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Correct
Ask us to correct inaccurate or outdated information.
Export
Receive your data in a commonly used, portable format.
Delete
Ask us to erase your personal data from our systems.
If you are unhappy with how we handled a request, tell us and we will look at it again. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
14 Children
This website is for a general audience and is not directed at children under 16. We don’t knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
15 Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the update happens here, with the “last updated” date revised. A material change, one that affects what we collect or how we use it, is flagged prominently on this page, not buried.
