This website describes the products we build and run, and links to them. Using a product is governed by that product’s own terms of service and privacy policy, published with the product, not by this page. If those terms conflict with this page, the product’s terms win for that product.
Descriptions, screenshots, features, availability and prices shown here are for information. They can change as a product develops, and they are not an offer or a promise. The product itself, and its own terms, are the final word.
04 Use of the site
You may use the site for lawful purposes only. In particular, you agree not to:
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the site or its infrastructure.
- Probe, scan, or test the site’s security other than through responsible disclosure to us.
- Attempt to access the site’s admin area or any account that is not yours.
- Scrape or harvest content from the site at scale.
- Impersonate another person or organization when contacting us.
05 Intellectual property
The content, design, branding, and code of this site, and the names, logos and screenshots of our products, are the property of AfroGeez LLC unless otherwise stated. They may not be reproduced or used commercially without our written permission. Third-party trademarks, such as App Store, Google Play and YouTube, belong to their respective owners.
06 Contacting us
When you email us, including to apply for a role, we handle what you send as described in our Privacy Policy. You confirm you have the right to share anything you send, such as a CV. Sending us an idea or a suggestion doesn’t create a confidentiality obligation or any agreement between us.
07 Third-party services
The site links to our products and to their listings on app stores such as the App Store and Google Play, and some product pages embed videos from YouTube. Those stores and services are run by third parties. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content or practices; your use of them is governed by their own terms.
08 Disclaimer
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We work hard to keep it accurate, secure, and online, but we can’t guarantee it will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or current.
09 Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AfroGeez LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
10 Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. Any dispute arising from them is subject to the jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in New Mexico, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections you may have where you live.
11 Assignment
You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these terms to anyone else. We may transfer ours, together with these terms, to a successor if AfroGeez LLC or one of our products is sold, merged, or reorganized. The new owner takes on these same terms, and we will say so on this site when it happens. How personal data is handled in that case is described in our Privacy Policy.
12 Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when published here, with the “last updated” date revised. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest of the terms remain in effect. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
